MEPAPRlNT printed decorative paper is
produced with rotogravure machines with one to four colors
using a cellulose mount that can have weights of 70 - 80
- 90 - 200 gr/sqm.
Mepaprint is used for the production of low pressure melamine papers,
high pressure melamine papers, continuous laminate melamine papers,
finish foils and melamine edge bandings.
Mepaprint is selected among over 250 different cylinders shown
in the Decorative Printed Papers LIRI - MEPA calalogues, containing
wood reproductions, abstracts and simulated stones.
LIRMEL melamine paper is used for the
production of low pressure melamine faced chipboard, high
pressure laminates, and continuous laminates.
LIRMEL is selected among the decorative papers of the Standard
Collection range. These papers are standard and the minimum
quantity is only 3.000 sqm.
You can choose from over 250 wood reporductions,
abstracts and stones from the Decorative Printed Papers catalogue. The minimum
quantity for the first order will be 15.000 sqm and 40.000 for the
following ones.
POSTFORMING MFC phenolic kraft papers
POSTFORMING MFC
phenolic kraft papers are used as a barrier in the production
of melamine faced chipboard. The phenolic resins used in the
impregnation of these papers are so highly reactive that a
melamine low pressure press cycle results long enough to their
polimerization. The usage of highly plastic phenolic resins allows us to impregnate
papers with very high grammages creating various advantages on
the conventionally used phenolic-melamine papers:
-
higher resistance to impact, due
both to the greater thickness and to the plasticity
of phenolic resins.
-
better core for the melamine decorative
paper in the postforming process, since the thickness
of the two papers results to be 0,2-0,3 mm.
-
better postformability.
-
better aesthetic result on the
postformed profile.
Once pressed, the melamine faced chipboard
can be posfformed with appropriate machines that first
mill the board as indicated in the drawing, leaving intact
the phenolic and melamine papers on the exterior side,
and then bend them like a normal postforming machine.
LIRKRAFT phenolic paper
LIRKRAFT phenolic paper is a kraft paper impregnated with
phenolic thermosetting resin. LIRKRAFT is used in the
production of different materials:
- STANDARD GRADE HIGH PRESSURE
LAMINATES. In this case the weight is 160/225 gr/sqm or
205/310 sqm.
- POST-FORMING GRADE HIGH PRESSURE
LAMINATES. For this production, which requires high
elasticity, is used only PIEFFE LIRKRAFT 160/225 gr/sqm
heavy.
- EXTERIOR GRADE HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATES. The main
characteristics of AQUAKERN LIRKRAFT for exterior
is the very low water absorbtion, which, when correctly
processed, is reduced to under 1%.
The weight of the paper is 205/310 gr/sqm.
